ABC DANCES TO RATINGS VICTORY

ABC won Wednesday night in overnights and total viewers courtesy of the very first "Dancing with the Stars" results show of the new season (16,31 mil viewers), the highest rated program on US network television last night.

NBC was first in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo with their line-up of Dateline NBC (3.2/9 in the demo) and Law & Order (2.8/8).

All-new episodes of Bones (8,44 mil viewers) and Justice (7,54 mil viewers) did respectable, but not spectacular business over at FOX.

The season finale of Rock Star: Supernova was the lowest-rated CBS show of the evening (7,06 mil viewers), leading into repeats of Criminal Minds and CSI: NY (9 mil and 9,92 mil viewers respectively).
