Last night's emotional season ending cliffhanger of ABC's "Ugly Betty" kicked things off with a "stay-in-the-kitchen-30-seconds-longer-and-you'll-miss-it" guest appearance of Lindsay Lohan playing a mean girl (what else?) in Betty's 1999 flashback. The appearance had been rumored since last fall, before the producers finally closed the deal with the mischievous actress this spring.

Lohan Defends Herself

Actress Lindsay Lohan who was arrested on Tuesday morning for drunk driving and drug possession just days after leaving rehab and turning over a new leaf, defended herself on Tuesday evening in an email to Billy Bush of Access Hollywood.


"I am innocent... did not do drugs they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy," Lohan said in the message.



Lohan was pulled over by police after she was reported for driving erratically through the streets of Santa Monica, California, pursuing a car being driven by the mother of an assistant, who quit on Monday.



Police have confirmed the former assistant's mother was the person who reported Lohan, calling authorities on her cell phone. Police found the two women in a heated argument at a parking lot before arresting Lohan.



Lohan had been celebrating a friend's birthday in Venice, California when she found out about her assistant resignation which apparently upset her. She was charged with a DUI and then police reportedly found cocaine in her pockets when she was booked.



Lohan had worn an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet since her July 13 release from rehab and was tested daily to support her sobriety, her attorney Blair Berk said. She said Lohan had relapsed and was receiving medical care at an undisclosed location.

Lohan to Wear Alcohol-Detecting Bracelet

Lindsay Lohan checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility on Friday and went partying at PURE night club in Vegas on Saturday. The freckled starlet drank Red Bull and stayed away from booze and she now has a bracelet to prove it.

Lohan's publicit says she will voluntarily wear the bracelet as part of an "intensive outpatient program." That program allegedly includes going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, taking daily tests and receiving therapy.

Lohan went partying to the club she was originally supposed to have her big 21st birthday bash at before she was forced to cancel it following her Memorial Day incident when she was found passed out at the wheel of her lesbian DJ friend's car.

Lindsay Lohan's Boxing Lesson

Actress Lindsay Lohan who recently canceled her 21st birthday bash is currently in residence at Malibu’s Promises rehab centre, and has decided to stay there until she fully recovers.

Lohan spends her days at the center bike riding, rollerblading and boxing with her instructors at the gym. The actress appears to be determined to get back into top shape.



Meanwhile, her parents' divorce case kicked off in court on Friday in Long Island, New York, and quickly turned ugly as Dina Lohan accused her husband Michael of breaching their separation agreement by speaking to the media.



Michael, meanwhile, claimed he is owed money from Dina, as agreed in the pact. After sparring in the courthouse, the tension spilled outside, with Michael clashing with Dina's "security guard." The pair exchanged insults.
