Kyle XY: Second Season Continues Tonight!

Kyle (Matt Dallas) looks towards the future while the Tragers finally learn his secrets in the first of ten all new episodes of ABC Family’s "Kyle XY" tonight at 8:00 p.m. Check out the spoilers from the episode, a click away.

After his journey with Jessi ends, Kyle returns home and is ready to tell the Trager family the whole truth.

With every sordid detail out on the table he wonders if they will be so willing to take him back.

Once they hear everything the Tragers only support him more and rally around Kyle to take on Madacorp.

With a plan in hand, the family heads to the company picnic to help Kyle take down the corporation’s secret machine.

Meanwhile, torn between her instructions from Madacorp and growing affection for Kyle, Jessi was last seen leaping from a cliff into a raging river.

Was it a fatal leap? And if she lived, will she help Kyle, or is she more dangerous than ever?

VIDEO: Kyle XY Returns January 14

Earlier this year ABC Family was smart enough to extend the second season of its breakout hit series "Kyle XY" starring the adorable Matt Dallas by ordering additional 10 episodes which had been filmed prior to the strike. The show returns January 14 in its regular timeslot, Mondays at 8.

When the show returns, superboy Kyle (Matt Dallas) will finally tell his adopted family, the Tragers, the truth about his test-tube origins, and they will set out to take down Madacorp, the shadowy company attempting to control Kyle and Jessi (Jaimie Alexander). Te fate of Jessi will be revealed.

Here's now a recent Kyle XY segment which aired on the Spanish free-to-air channel Cuatro in which Matt Dallas talks about the show (including Jessi's naked scene with pink goo) and confirms that there will be a third season as he and the rest of the cast go back to shoot in March.

"Kyle XY" Spoilers #2.13: "Leap of Faith" (Season Finale)

ABC Family may have ordered as many as 23 episodes of "Kyle XY" this year, but only 13 will air this summer. The season finale is scheduled for Monday, September 3 and the remaining 10 episodes will air this winter.


Meanwhile, on the season finale titled "Leap of Faith," Kyle and Jessi may finally find out the truth behind their connection (possibly much stronger than they had thought), as well as their creation.



Kyle gambles with his safety and the Tragers', but will his hunch about Jessi turn out to be true, or will she - now that she knows the whole truth about where she came from and what her mission was - disappoint him?



Meanwhile, the Tragers come together to try and figure out the secrets that Kyle has been hiding.


Writer/producer Julie Plec says: "As everybody starts to put the pieces together of the things that just don't make sense when it comes to this boy, it comes to a point where Kyle realizes that, although he's been trying to protect his family all along by keeping them in the dark, eventually in order to be a true family, you need to be honest about who you really are. And that is where we're heading by the end of the season and at the beginning of the next."

In other words, one should come out to their family. Right?

ABC To Air "Kyle XY"

If you would like to see Matt Dallas do his belly button thing once again and you will not have access to basic cable's ABC Family fear not as parent network ABC comes to the rescue. Or is "Kyle XY" coming to rescue the Alphabet net's Friday nights?

The second season of the hit series begins on Monday, June 11. The season premiere will then get an encore presentation on Friday, June 15.

ABC will air at least 4 out of 23 episodes of the second season, that is it will keep "Kyle XY" on Fridays at least through July 6.

This season Kyle is back with the Traggers family who may know be in harm's way and Jaimie Alexander joins the show as the girl in the pod whose identity is unveiled.

The drama's "repurposed" episodes on ABC Fridays scored higher ratings than ABC Family originals last summer (4.2 vs 2 million viewers).

The drama's principal star Matt Dallas won the Saturn Award for Rising Star (pictured above after the ceremony).

ABC Family Extends "Kyle XY's" 2nd Season

ABC Family execs are so happy with "Kyle XY's" sophomore season that they ordered additional 10 episodes bringing this year's total of originals to 23.

The drama about a mysterious teenager (Matt Dallas) with no history or memory (or a belly button for that matter) airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. and the second season premieres on June 11.

"We have been delighted with the new episodes, and we're thrilled to be able to extend Season 2," ABC Family president Paul Lee said to Hollywood Reporter.

Interview with "Kyle XY" Star Matt Dallas

"Kyle XY" is the most successful drama in the history of basic cable's ABC Family as it has just been sold to over 120 territories in the world at the 2007 MIPCOM Festival in Cannes. The show star Matt Dallas gave this interview to "TV with MeeVee" talking about the upcoming second season.

"Kyle XY" To Return June 11

ABC Family has just announced the return date of its summer hit series "Kyle XY" starring Matt Dallas as an unusual boy with mysterious past. The 13-episode second season will debut on Monday, June 11 at 9pm and here are the main plot points for the new season the network has released. It looks the writers are getting Kyle a romantic interest.

After Kyle's (Dallas) long search for the secrets of his past, he finally comes face to face with the man that may hold the answers he longs for... Adam Baylin.

With Adam's help Kyle begins to realize just where he came from and what his potential might be.

But with a twist of fate, Kyle finds himself back on the door-step of the family he left behind.

Now under strict training of Tom Foss (Nicholas Lea) he must learn the full scope of his abilities, but keep it a secret from the family who just wants to help him return to the life of a normal teenager.

Back in the world of the Tragers, Kyle must come to terms with his new double life and the unknown dangers that lurk outside the family's walls.

The Tragers also have some readjusting to do when Kyle comes back into their lives. After Kyle left, the family struggled to deal with the loss.

Nicole (MacIntyre) became despondent and quit her job, Stephen (Thomas) has had to step up to take over for Nicole, Lori (Matson) can't seem to figure out why Declan (Olivero) is so distant with her and Josh (Bilodeau) is up to his usual antics.

Once Kyle returns, will the family be able to go back to normal or will his mysterious return leave some lingering issues?

The peril increases for Kyle when a mysterious corporation, Madacorp, gets their hands on the girl in the pod (Alexander) and decides to put her on the hunt for Kyle.

Not only does the girl become a part of his world, but she also seeps into the lives of the Tragers, putting everyone at risk.

Can Kyle keep the threats away or will they come straight through the Trager's front door?
