VIDEO: "Dirty Sexy Money" UK Launch
The cast of ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money" recently gathered in Los Angeles to film a 'bumper car ride' trailer as part of a marketing campaign for UK's Channel 4 which is launching Greg Berlanti's luxury sudser on Friday, March 21 at 9:00pm.
The trailer features members of the Darling family driving bumper cars at their lawyer Nick (Peter Krause) in a fantasy sequence. Visit the Channel 4 Dirty Sexy Money website to see an exclusive video about making of the trailer.
The show is currently on hiatus and has been renewed for a second season. Dexter's Daniel Cerone is taking over as the new show runner. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter Cerone said:
"I don't think there is any desire to significantly change the show at all," he said. "It's more about keeping all the best elements and adding as much intrigue, drama and danger as we possibly can."
The 3 unaired episodes of "Dirty Sexy Money" which had been filmed days after the writers' strike began in late 2007 will undergo some tweaking and kick off season 2 in September.
A total of 13 new episodes has been ordered for now. ABC plans to give "Dirty Sexy Money" (as well as the rest of its Wednesday night line-up) a major relaunch in the fall.
The filming of new episodes may begin as early as April.
Next Tuesday, March 25 the entire cast and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Josh Reims and Matthew Gross will make an appearance at the Paley Festival to talk about the show.
