The survivors begin to question the intentions of their supposed rescuers when four strangers arrive on the island. Check out the stills and spoilers from tomorrow night's episode of "LOST" (airs Thursday, February 7, at 9/8c on ABC).
The title of the episode derives from a flashback radio report in which it is disclosed that Oceanic Flight 815 had been found on the bottom of the ocean and all 324 passengers are confirmed dead.
4 new characters, members of the freighter "rescue" mission, are introduced in this episode:
Daniel Faraday (Jeremy Davies), "the headcase," a very anxious and frantic man
Miles (Ken Leung), "the ghostbuster," a man who can speak to spirits of dead people
Charlotte (Rebecca Mader), "the anthropologist," a beautiful scientist who finds bones of a polar bear in a desert along with a Dharma collar
Frank Lapidus (Jeff Fahey), "the drunk," who was originally supposed to pilot flight 815
These four people were not sent to the island to rescue survivors of the flight 815, since they were told all aboard the plane died.
The flashbacks in this episode will depict moments when they all heard about the crash and how if affected them.
Naomi is dead and Miles will "speak" to her spirit, that confirms Jack and Kate's claim that Locke had killed her.
The ominous man from Hurley's flash forward in episode #401 is the man behind this mission whose original and true purpose is to execute Ben.
Ben, who is now with Locke and his group of survivors, is aware of that. In fact, one of the four people from the freighter is a spy who reports to him.
