TV Ratings: Monday (11/26/07)

"Samantha Who" moved to its regular timeslot at 9 pm last night and immediately lost the "#1 Comedy on TV" title. Since there will be no "Dancing" lead-in next week and the show will air opposite the "Heroes" fall finale, ABC may have a reason to be worried. Meanwhile, it appears FOX was right - the writers' strike has actually helped it reach higher ratings with an all-rerun Monday night line-up.

A rerun of FOX's blockbuster "House" did as well (or even a little better) than what regular timeslot occupant "Prison Break" normally averages. A rerun of the lead-out "Bones" however did much better than a new episode of FOX's freshman drama "K-Ville."

Meanwhile, there is more trouble on the ABC front. The Alphabet's 10 pm drama "October Road" (Geoff Stults, pictured above) which launched its second season on Thanksgiving pulled in only about 6 million viewers finishing behind NBC's "Journeyman."

ABC:
Dancing with the Stars (24.74 million)
Samantha Who (12.62 million)
Notes from the Underbelly (8.25 million)
October Road (6.02 million)

CBS:
How I Met Your Mother (8.06 million)
The Big Bang Theory (R) (7.39 million)
Two and a Half Men (15.30 million)
Rules of Engagement (11.62 million)
CSI: Miami (15.46 million)

NBC:
Chuck (8.36 million)
Heroes (11.86 million)
Journeyman (6.18 million)

FOX:
House (R) (7.44 million)
Bones (R) (6.53 million)

The CW:
Everybody hates Chris (2.28 million)
Aliens in America (1.89 million)
Girlfriends (2.28 million)
The Game (2.80 million)

  1. I'm not surprised at the drop in Samantha Who's ratings although it is still leading out Dancing. I wonder whether it will go into freefall with a complete absense of DWTS, I don't know how many episodes are left to burn.

Note's from the Underbelly got its second best ever numbers, and that was second only to the pilot.

  2. Geoff Stults is such a hunk. I could never imagine him with that "big" chick. That made the whole plotline unimaginable in my head.
