TV Ratings: "Samantha Who" Hits Series High; "Heroes" Hits Season Low
No wonder ABC was quick to pick up "Samantha Who" for a full season of 22 episodes yesterday. After dropping a little bit in week #2, TV's top-rated sitcom bounced back to a series high of 15.36 million viewers on Monday. Plus, "Heroes" hits a new season-low.
CBS sitcoms "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory" continued to grow with the latter scoring almost 9 million viewers.
NBC's "Heroes" shed another 300,000 viewers this week hitting a new season-low of 10.45 million.
At this time last year the show scored 14.74 million viewers airing after "Deal or No Deal" which pulled in almost 17 million viewers.
"Heroes" might run into more trouble once FOX replaces the underwhelming "K-Ville" with "24" in January.
NBC's new shows "Chuck" and "Journeyman" are also not doing too well, as the latter has now fallen below 6 million.

Yay for Samantha Who?!
Thats three decent Series ABC has picked up for a full season. Now all they need to do is renew them all up for a second and I will officially not hate them this year like I did last year.
Hey Justin, hope your new venture is going well! I have noticed that ABC overruns many of their shows these days, especially DWTS in order to artefactually elevate the ratings for the next show. I thought that Samantha Who did not probably do over 15 million because some of that was because of the Dancing overflow. Rather sneaky of them eh?
Not too surprising for Heroes to drop in ratings, by a landslide, one may even say, soon.
I'm only watching Heroes for one and only one reason, Milo Ventimiglia. Okay, maybe 2 reasons, if Adrian Pasdar keeps shaven. Alright, 3 reasons - West!!!
The writers definitely need to make the connection soon. It's so boring now with separate storylines and uninteresting powers.
