FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" Cuts Faina Savich & Jimmy Arguello
Latin ballroom dancer Faina Savich and contemporary lyrical dancer Jimmy Arguello were asked to leave FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" competition after dancing a solo for the judges on last night's results show.
The departing dancers did not participate as a couple - Faina performed fox-trot with Cedric Gardner who was reproached by Nigel for letting his partner down, while Jimmy and his partner Shauna Noland did a hip-hop routine which despite judges' praise did not click with the audience.
Although judge Mary Murphy wanted Jimmy to stay, Nigel Lythgoe and Mia Michaels supported Cedric and his unique character. Meanwhile, Shauna managed to ensure her stay with a superb solo routine.

i am in such shock that cedric beat out jimmy. he didn't deserve to stay, especially since he did the foxtrot so badly yet his partner, who was perfect, was sent home.
last season was the 1st i watched and i thought they chose correctly everytime. this season im not so sure.
cedric needs to go!
