Mario Lopez Cast In CW Pilot
The CW is sure lining those hotties up. The network that brings into your homes the likes of Tom Welling, Jenson Ackles and Chad Michael Murray has already signed Passion hunk Justin Hartley for a drama pilot. Now "Dancing" star Mario Lopez is also thrown into the mix.
The CW comedy pilot "8 Days a Week" revolves around four twentysomethings who work under the top movers and shakers in New York.
Lopez will play one of the bosses, an impeccably dressed wunderkind with a cell phone attached to his ear. Christina Milan has also been tapped to star in the pilot.
Lopez has kept busy since finishing his stint on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and generating enormous buzz with his guest appearance on FX's "Nip/Tuck."
He recently joined entertainment newsmagazine "Extra" as co-host/correspondent, as well as hosted the 2007 Miss America Pageant and signed on to star in the ABC Family original movie "Holidays in Handcuffs."
The CW is currently developing 4 comedies, 6 dramas and 3 reality shows for the next season. We will find out which of them make it onto the air by mid May.
