"Desperate" Kids, "Ugly" People & More GLAAD Highlights
All right - this will really be my final post about the GLAAD Media Awards. I did however want to share a few more images from the event featuring those naughty teenagers from "Desperate Housewives" and that absolutely fabulous kid Justin from "Ugly Betty."
Shawn Pyfrom who plays the not-so-evil-anymore gay teenager Andrew Van De Kamp on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" attended the event with co-stars Joy Lauren who portrays his sister Danielle Van De Tramp and Julie Bowen, Susan's goodie-two-shoes daughter Julie Alexandra Mayer.
"Brothers & Sisters" stars Ron Rifkin, Patricia Wettig and Matthew Rhys were among the cast attending the event. Matthew is of course the actor who plays Kevin and his compelling storylines (well... most of them anyway) are the reason the drama won the prestigious award.
Mark Indelicato who plays the fashion-obsessed Justin Suarez on ABC's "Ugly Betty" was clearly having as much fun with his co-stars as his character does on the show. The 12-year old actor has said to USA Today he likes to avoid websites, forums and blogs because of the negative feedback his character sometimes generates.
Oh Mark... There will always be stupid idiotic moronic barbaric disgusting wretched dimwitted brainless thickheaded repulsive hatred-filled revolting backward-thinking ugly vomituous (is that a word?) inhuman beings, but that doesn't mean there aren't legions of normal people out there who think you're absolutely incredible.
There. I'm done ranting.
Now let's get back to beauty. Here's more of our beloved and oh-so-gorgeous Becki Newton (you go girl!), as well as her "Ugly Betty" co-stars the ever-freakin'-fabulous Rebecca Romijn and Ana Ortiz. How does one show get so many amazing actors?
"Ugly Betty" is the best comedy on television so make sure you check it out this Thursday at 8/7c on ABC.

Ugly Betty, Heroes, Brothers and Sisters... It was a good season for new shows... all 3 of which i definitly will pick up the dvd boxes.
Great actors on all three shows.
And i must say... Rebecca Romijn is quite tall.... Must be all the dutch blood in her...We all, kinda, tend to be tall.
Stefan:
Ain't that the truth? :P (Re: being tall for Dutch people)
You named 3 of my favorite new shows this year, 2 of which are from ABC Network and NBC's Heroes just took my breath away when it aired. :)
I hope you've been catching up recently with downloads since I know they really haven't aired these eps over in Denmark :P *tsk tsk* (lol)

They've recently started with Brothers and Sisters in the Netherlands...So, i am watching them all over again, such a chore ;)
And Heroes is just great, i just wish that Sylar wasn't so.. facinating to look at..:P
Downloads?..I don't know what you are talking about. *hums*
Stefan:
Well, Zach Quinto is set to come back for season 2, accordingly. He'll be a series regular next season, so that is a big spoiler and so we know that Sylar won't die this year. I think if Quinto fixed his nose, he'll be perfect.
As for Brothers & Sisters, it's great that they're showing it in the Netherlands. Is it dubbed or subtitled there?

Yea, i've read that too, that Zach Quinto was to be made series regular.. That's a whole lotta brains for him to sniff..
B&S is being subtittled, thank god..If they'd dubbed it..i would not be happy. Luckely they never dubb shows around here (atleast not the regular non-kiddies kind)
And now i am on the quest of getting my friends to watch B&S..(I wonder when they'll start to show Heroes and Ugly Betty..Kinda anoying talking about these shows to friends who haven't seen or even heard of the shows.)
I do know Ugly Betty airs in Norway.
