What's Next For Stars Of "The O.C."?

Adam Brody rejected a high-profile TV pilot following up on his intention to temporarily stay away from television after the conclusion of his FOX drama "The O.C.". What about his co-stars?

Hollywood production studios are still casting or replacing the final available roles in the upcoming fall TV pilots so anything is possible. As previously reported, Melinda Clarke who played vixen Julie Cooper has already landed a role playing a police woman in CBS's new pilot "The Man".

Former cast-members Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson can both be seen in separate upcoming movies with sexy "Star Wars" alum Hayden Christensen.

Barton will play Pampinea in the period piece "Virgin Territory" about a group of young Florentines who take refuge in the Italian countryside, amusing one another with stories of love and adventure, as the black plague devastates the city.

The actress will also play young Shirlie MacLaine in an upcoming biopic.

Rachel Bilson has recently completed shooting the sci-fi movie "Jumper" about a teenager from an abusive household who discovers he can teleport from one place to another.

Rachel has not been cast in any pilots thus far.

Finally, Benjamin MacKnezie has not found a pilot for the next season either, but will appear in the new Al Pacino movie "88 Minutes" about a college professor who, while moonlighting as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI, receives a death threat telling him that he has only 88 minutes to live.
