VIDEO: The Best of Idol: Melinda Doolittle: "My Funny Valentine"
If there is a classy contestant on this year's sixth cycle of FOX's juggernaut competition "American Idol" who performs with grace and style it must be the 29-year old Tennessee native Melinda Doolittle.
The judges were bursting with compliments for her rendition of the all-time classic "My Funny Valentine" with Randy Jackson saying Melinda came out to win, Paula Abdul calling her performance outstanding and Simon Cowell saying she was "a breath of fresh air."

I forgot to leave a comment here. But boy can this girl sing. :) She's my favorite to win this competition. She and Lakisha should go head to head. Omigod, that would be like the best finale if she and Lakisha sang at the finales. I would be buying my tix to the Kodak theater if that were the case. :)
She really turned My Funny Valentine into her own style. I was like...woah...this girl can sing...this girl is awesome! She needs more fans! :)
