Jennifer Garner, who played butt-kicking agent Sidney Bristow on ABC's "Alias" will get back to high-octane action later this year in a Peter Berg big screen thriller "The Kingdom" also starring Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx as well as not one, not two, but as many as three cast members of NBC's "Friday Night Lights".
Houston-born actress who bundled up with daughter Violet on Wednesday in a rainy Vancouver plays agent Janet Mayes in the movie based on the Riyadh compound bombings which took place on May 12, 2003, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Robert De Niro is rumored to have a cameo in the Michael Mann produced movie.
Three cast members of NBC's "Friday Night Lights" who appear in the movie are Kyle Chandler (Coach Taylor,) Minka Kelly (Lyla Garrity) and "Melrose Place" star Brooke Langton who guest stars on the drama as Tim Riggins' new romantic interest. "The Kingdom" opens in late September 2007.
