The sitcom originally known as "Let's Rob Mick Jagger" which was subsequently given a rather tedious title "The Knights of Prosperity" has now been pulled off ABC's Wednesday night schedule after averaging only about 5 million viewers since its January premiere.
In addition to frequent title changes that also included a hideous "Let's Rob...", the sitcom about a group of criminals plotting to rob Mick Jagger was also plagued with scheduling problems as it got held off until January despite being originally intended for a fall launch.
ABC is pulling "The Knights of Prosperity" off its schedule effective immediately, leaving three unaired episodes. Of course, rather than using the word "cancellation", ABC insists the sitcom remains "Not Yet Rescheduled".
Repeats of "According to Jim" and "George Lopez" will fill the slot in March.
That of course means additional trouble for ABC Wednesdays - although the network started the season off on a winning note courtesy of the reality blockbuster "Dancing with the Stars" and a stronger "LOST", it quickly lost steam after "Dancing" ended its 2-month run in November and "LOST" went on a much-criticized 3-month hiatus.

But what is ABC gonna do? They wont cancel In Case of Emergency, and move George Lopez to 9:30, and premiere Traveler? NO, they're move George, and premiere another stupid reality show.
ReplyDeleteI agree with jj, ABC is really in trouble and why not cancel In Case of Emergency which is doing worse I think?
ReplyDeleteIf this October Road bombs like I think it will, they'll have another gap on Thursdays after Grey's. I still think Men in Trees is a great show and deserves to stay in that spot.
