"LOST Survivor Guide" Special - Tuesday on Yahoo! TV and ABC.com

ABC's new "LOST" prime-time special hosted by executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse which airs Wednesday at 9pm, before the network kicks off a new batch of 16 episodes in the drama's new timeslot at 10pm, will be available on Yahoo! TV and ABC.com on Tuesday.

The special focuses on the flashbacks of a core of characters - illustrating who they were and what they were doing before the crash, and how the island has changed their lives, for better or worse.

In addition, the island itself will be explored culled from events that have taken place which may reveal some of its secrets that might have been missed upon first viewing.

The special will also be available on ABC's official online video player along with the first six episodes of the third season.

The free-of-charge sponsor-based player is only available to ABC.com visitors from within the US.

Yahoo! TV, on the other hand, will not be offering the first six episodes.

ABC.com has also added several new features on its Lost site, including a new video podcast with executive producers Lindelof and Cuse, which includes a special sneak peek at extra content from the series Season Three DVD, which will be released later this year.

Additionally, visitors to ABC.com can find a new exclusive feature entitled Writers Rotation that showcases the favorite music and listening selections of members of the Lost production team and an updated version of Lost & Found, which highlights not-to-be-missed moments in upcoming episodes.

  1. Thanks Justin! I'm SOOOOOO excited it's coming back! The Survivor Guide isn't probably going to do well in the ratings, given its up against AI and part 2 of the Criminal Minds fiasco, but I think the return of Lost will do OK if not spectacular. Cross your fingers!
