ABC To Repeat "Bang", Other March TV Repeats Highlights
As February sweeps are about to conclude the broadcast networks in the US are making way for a sea of repeats of their hit shows which will take a little time off before launching the final 6-8 episodes of their respective seasons in April and May.
March is also generally considered a solid launching pad for the final batch of midseason series as the networks hope viewers would be more likely to give new shows a chance amidst hit shows repeats.
Following a very special Rex Van De Kamp-narrated episode of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" told from a male perspective, the network may air as many as 4 repeats of the show, before launching the final episodes on April 8.
The highlight will of course be the groundbreaking episode "Bang" centered around a supermarket hostage storyline which won both critical praise and Nielsen gold when originally broadcast in November. "Bang" airs March 18 at 9pm on ABC.
"Housewives" lead-out series "Brothers & Sisters" (which is rumored to be moving to Tuesdays at 10pm next season replacing "Boston Legal") will also repeat a very special episode in March.
The two-parter "Mistakes Were Made" airs March 11 and 18 and flashes back to September 11. The flashback features Tom Skerritt as the Walker family's deceased patriarch William and Rob Lowe makes his first appearance as Senator McAllister.
ABC will air a new episode of "Grey's Anatomy" on March 15, possibly followed by another new episode a week later. The network will repeat many of the drama's episodes both in its regular timeslot Thursdays at 9pm as well as Friday at 8pm. It all begins with the "men camping trip" episode "Where the Boys Are" on March 1.
"Ugly Betty" should also be back with new episodes on March 15 and 22. ABC will in the meantime repeat episodes with producer Salma Hayek starting with "Trust, Lust and Must" on March 1 in which the star makes her first appearance as Sofia (the actress already appeared in a telenovela snippet in the pilot episode). Debi Mazar also guest stars.
NBC's "Heroes" concludes the second "Are you on the list?" chapter of its current season on March 5 and is expected to return on April 16 with the final 5 episodes of the season. NBC has yet to release its repeats schedule.
Fans of Neil Patrick Harris will be happy to hear CBS is repeating one of the best episodes of his sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" - the October episode "World's Greatest Couple" which gives us the first peek into Barney's hilarious bachelor apartment airs Monday, March 5 at 8pm on CBS.
Some of the dramas like CBS's "Jericho", FOX's "Prison Break" and "24" and ABC's "LOST" will not be taking any time off due to their specific and much-publicized scheduling, you will continue to see all-new episodes of those shows week after week.
"Prison Break" and "Friday Night Lights" are the two shows expected to wrap up their seasons in April, all other hit shows will of course air through mid or late May, that is until the end of the official TV season in the US.
Please bear in mind that all dates posted herein are subject to last minute change by the broadcast networks.

Or they canning Boston Legal? Or just moving it? It doesnt get spectacular ratings, but it doesnt get horrid ones either. I dont think that Bros. and Sis. has the ability to keep people watching without DH as a leadin. I say they shouldnt change anything. They have already axed or are likely to axe
Big Day
Help me Help You
The Nine
Six Degrees
Men in Trees
In Case of Emergency
The Knights of Prosperity
George Lopez
According to Jim(Confirmed to be ending this season)
What about Brian
Notes from the Underbelly
Day Break
And with only 1 potential success, Traveler, I dont see any reason to get rid of Boston Legal, which does get at least satisfactory ratings.
Thank you for the updates, Justin.
JJ, Boston Legal will be getting the axe accordingly. So far, nothing is substantial on Brothers & Sisters move to Tuesday nights, but that is the rumor coming from a leak at ABC HQ.

I dont see any reason to axe BL, it gets decent ratings. Plus, I dont think moving B&S is a smart move either. Maybe BL will get its staying power after it gets placed in the post dancing slot.
