FOX Stars Come Out At TCA Winter Press Tour

Stars of FOX smash hits such as "Prison Break", "Bones" and "24" came to Ritz Carlton in Pasadena yesterday to help promote their network as the network president Peter Ligouri took the stage at the TCA Winter Press Tour.

At the event, Ligouri said the producers of "Prison Break" have already conceived a "very exciting third season", but he would not confirm whether the drama will get renewed for next year.

He said the network continues to support its freshman sitcom "Till Death" and beginning March 14 it will be moving it to the coveted post-Idol slot following results shows on Wednesday nights.

Following the season finale of "Prison Break", FOX will premiere a new series on Monday nights called "Drive" with a two-night three hour season-opener on Sunday April 15 and Monday April 16.

Ligouri said America loves Paula Abdul and FOX "is very happy with what she does for [them] on American Idol." As for "Idol's" successful streak - "America knows what to expect from us."

As for the controversy surrounding the current season of "24" (repeat accusations that the drama is vilifying Muslims) Ligouri diplomatically said that "24" has villains of many kinds of ethnicities.

FOX has scheduled a two-hour "24" episode with special guest stars Chad Lowe and Power Boothe for Monday, February 12 from 8-10pm ET/PT ("Prison Break" will be pre-empted for one night only).

"American Idol" panel was over 45 minutes late with their presentation.

After some of the present journalists started chanting "Paul-a, Paul-a" believing the reality star whose loopy behavior made headlines was responsible for the delay, the panel finally arrived.

Simon Cowell not only took the blame for being late, but he also defended Paula Abdul's behavior who gave him a kiss on the cheek.
