WHOOPI LOVES CHRIS

The CW kick starts its Sunday night comedy line-up tonight and the hilarious Chris Rock-narrated single-camera sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris", which comes to the network from the now-defunct UPN, will anchor the night.

On the second season premiere (7/6c), Whoopi Goldberg joins the cast in a recurring role of Louise Clarkson, a snooty grandmother who moves in next door and immediately clashes with Chris' mom (the amazing Tichina Arnold) over who should be named the block-watch captain.

Goldberg who herself is a fan of the sitcom will appear on a regular basis during the show's sophomore season.

The comedy which is set is 1980s New York comes along with a groovy soundtrack and Chris Rock's voiceover commentary about his childhood memories, delivered in his trademark barking manner, thrown in between the actors' dialogue.
